A new mobile phone has been launched by Honor, and whenever Honor launches a smartphone, I’m more excited than necessary. The reason behind this is that Honor does not launch a phone without innovation. Now this is a simple thing: the hardware specifications and Honor smartphones always offer good value, and a good price tag also comes with that phone.

But the important thing for me is that whenever phones are launched, there are some features in them that are unique, that you have not seen on any mobile phone before. Honor provides those.
Introduction to Honor 400 Pro 5G
This is Honor’s 400 Pro 5G. This new 5G smartphone comes under Honor’s 100 series. For those who don’t know, Honor’s flagship series is the Honor Magic series, which is top-of-the-line. But every year we see that Honor’s 100 series also comes with a flagship-grade processor, and moreover, it brings some new software and hardware features that even high-end Honor phones did not have before.
We have all of these in the Honor 400 Pro 5G.
Market Availability
This mobile phone is being launched only in the UAE and Middle East market for now. I said, Let me give a disclaimer first, but this is very important for you people because there is a high chance that this company does something in Pakistan as well. I can only tell you this much.
Unboxing Experience
Along with this, the Honor 400 has also been launched, which is a little more affordable in comparison to this. This smartphone has been launched for 2499 DHS. Now you will get to see a case. Its camera angle is very unique. Apart from that, a SIM injection pin is seen.
Apart from this, inside the box you get to see a fast-charging brick —I’m calling it fast-charging for a reason.

Charging & Battery Performance
The wired charging inside this mobile phone is supported at 100 watts fast charging. As I have told you, this is a proper flagship device. The only difference is that the flagship-grade processor installed inside it is 1 or 2 years old; like in this case, a 1-year-old processor has been used.
The Honor 400 Pro 5G also features a silicon carbon battery, which is why you get a massive 6000 mAh battery capacity in such a slim design. Wireless charging is also supported at a blazing 50 watts wireless speed, making this one of the fastest wireless charging phones available right now.
Design & Build Quality
The cable of type C is available, which will again charge your mobile phone above 100 watts. The design of this smartphone is quite unique, where you can see a triple camera setup on the backside. It is very unique. I would say this looks like a pebble with a design of three cameras.
Its main camera is a 200 MP sensor, and along with that, you get to see a 50 MP Sony sensor (IMX 5856) with 3x optical zoom. A 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera has also been given.
There’s a special finish inside Honor’s high-end phones — when you touch it, you feel as if you are touching something soft. The back is made of glass, but that soft finish is given here.
On the top side, there’s your speaker grill, IR blaster, and noise cancellation microphone. Your buttons are on the side. Again, on the bottom side, you get to see the speaker grill. It comes with a metal body, and because of this, its machining is also quite high-end.
Storage & SIM Configuration
Apart from this, here you get to see your SIM slot. Now this mobile phone comes with 512 GB storage, so I’m assuming that nobody will actually need a memory card — and even if you need it, then you cannot put it inside this mobile phone. Inside this mobile, you get to see only a dual SIM slot, and both SIMs are 5G supported.
Global Pricing Overview: Honor 400 Pro 5G
The Honor 400 Pro 5G enters the market as a powerful flagship smartphone, competitively priced for its features. Below is a look at its pricing across different regions:
- 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates (Official Price): AED 2,499
- 🇺🇸 United States (Expected Price): ~$680
- 🇬🇧 United Kingdom (Expected Price): ~£530
- 🇵🇰 Pakistan (Expected Price): ~PKR 192,000
Disclaimer: International prices are approximate and based on current exchange rates. Final retail prices may vary depending on local taxes, import duties, and distributor margins.
Display & Biometric Features
First of all, if you talk about its front side, then you get to see the typical pill-shaped design of Honor, inside which the sensors for Face ID, etc., are installed.
On the front side, this mobile phone also offers a 50 MP front camera sensor. The display fingerprint scanner is also given, and the display is a quad-curve display — meaning it is curved from all four sides.
Obviously, this is an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and it also has a very high-resolution display. I will put the actual resolution here (1.5k resolution), but this is almost a 2K resolution smartphone display.
There are many other display functionalities we’ve seen before in other Honor phones — like PWM dimming and other visual tech — but we won’t go into too much depth here.

Performance & Gaming
The processor installed is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which basically means that this mobile phone scores close to 2 million on AnTuTu.
As far as gaming performance is concerned, I will not give much detail on it because this is a flagship processor. If you want to play PUBG, then Ultra Extreme comes on Smooth, and you get to see Ultra Frame Rate on Ultra HDR.
Basically, if you play games on this mobile phone, then you will not see it slowing down in any game. AnTuTu has a 1.8 million score, again, as I have told you.

RAM & AI Features
12 GB RAM has been installed here, and it is utilized properly because a lot of AI features have been given inside this smartphone.
When I go to the camera side, I will tell you the features are very crazy. Before moving to the camera, the overall hand feel of the mobile phone is very interesting. Loudspeakers have also been installed here.
Camera System & AI Features
As I told you, we will discuss the camera at the end. The reason behind this is that a lot of camera features have been provided in this smartphone.
Now, if we talk about the modes, then portrait mode, video mode, night mode, etc., are available here. Both its front and back cameras support 4K video recording.
- Front camera: 4K at 30 fps
- Back camera: 4K at 60 fps with HDR support
Pictures also turned out to be very beautiful.
This mobile phone has a feature called AI Portrait Snap. It can automatically take candid shots by detecting movement. As soon as you turn on AI, it enhances portraits and removes blurry or missed moments.
Another cool feature is the AI object eraser — similar to what we see on Google Pixel phones — but here it’s fully automated. It can remove background people from photos without selecting them manually.
Other features include AI upscaling, FaceTune, and even AI eye-opening for group shots — it can automatically open a person’s eyes in photos if they blinked during the shot.
It also includes an AI photo-to-video converter, where static photos are turned into lifelike video clips.

Build Quality & Durability
All the features you have seen earlier on Honor’s 100 series or Magic series are available in it. From drop protection to every screen feature — all are present.
Storage Capacity
The smartphone that has been launched has 512 GB ROM and 12 GB RAM.
Launching Markets
The mobile phone is being launched only in the UAE and Middle East market for now. Let me give a disclaimer first, but this is very important for you people because there is a high chance that this company does something in Pakistan as well. I can only tell you this much.
Final thoughts
Overall, if you talk about this device, then, as always, the thing that I like about Honor is that they bring something new; the same boring things are not picked up and given again.
